A very rare nice hand drawn silk batik, Juana on the north coast of East Java with the quintessential motif of silk batiks, firm and strong colors on fine and soft silk fabric, The genre of silk batiks by which Juana or Rembang were well known and received the name lokcan from some because of the bluish tint of the silk base, although the word has come to refer to its characteristic motif. It is beautiful and imposing, a rare example of this genre of silk batiks that is distinguished by fine, strong lines and very rich details.
It is in excellent condition, well preserved for its age, there are no defects, it is from the private collection.
